Many of you have been asking for a chair-based version of Pilates, and we're delighted to say it's finally here!


We're excited to welcome Charlotte to Eastbrook View, who will be leading our brand-new Chair Pilates for Over 50s sessions.


This gentle, low-impact class is perfect for improving strength, mobility, balance and overall wellbeing, all from the comfort and support of a chair. Whether you're new to exercise, returning after a break, or simply looking for a friendly way to stay active, this class is for you.

Following conversations with many of you, we're also exploring a monthly Menopause Café and a Ladies' Club, both hosted by Charlotte who is a pelvic floor expert!!!!

These will provide a welcoming space to connect, chat, share experiences and support one another.

ParkFit Terms & Conditions and Participant Waiver


1. Exercise Environment Acknowledgement


ParkFit sessions may take place either outdoors in a natural environment or indoors within a designated venue.


Outdoor sessions may involve uneven ground, grass, mud, tree roots, changing weather conditions, and other natural hazards. Indoor sessions may involve gym or studio equipment, flooring surfaces, and shared exercise spaces.


By attending, you acknowledge that participation in physical activity carries an inherent risk of injury and accept these risks.


2. Assumption of Risk


By participating in ParkFit sessions, you voluntarily accept all risks associated with physical activity, including but not limited to:


* Slips, trips, and falls

* Weather-related conditions during outdoor sessions

* Injuries resulting from physical exertion

* Contact with equipment or exercise surfaces

* Aggravation of existing injuries or medical conditions


3. Personal Responsibility


Participants are responsible for:


* Wearing appropriate footwear and clothing suitable for the session and environment

* Bringing water and any recommended equipment (e.g. exercise mat)

* Exercising within their own ability and fitness level

* Informing the instructor immediately if they feel unwell, injured, or unable to continue


Participants must follow all instructions provided by the instructor.


4. Health & Medical Conditions


You confirm that you are physically fit to participate in exercise activities.


Participants must inform the instructor before the session of any relevant medical conditions, injuries, disabilities, or other circumstances that may affect their ability to participate safely.


If in doubt, participants should seek medical advice before taking part.


5. Limitation of Liability


To the fullest extent permitted by law, ParkFit accepts no liability for:


* Injury sustained during participation, except where caused by proven negligence

* Loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings

* Incidents arising from environmental conditions beyond ParkFit's reasonable control


Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.


6. Indemnity


You agree to indemnify and hold harmless ParkFit, its instructors, volunteers, and representatives from any claims, damages, losses, or liabilities arising from your participation, except where such claims arise from proven negligence on the part of ParkFit.


7. Weather & Session Changes


Outdoor sessions may be cancelled, postponed, relocated, or adjusted due to unsafe weather or environmental conditions.


Participants are responsible for checking official ParkFit updates before attending.


Please note that in poor weather, if an alternative indoor venue is unavailable, the session may be cancelled.

8. Third-Party Locations


Sessions may take place in public parks, community venues, halls, or other third-party facilities.


ParkFit is not responsible for:


* The condition, maintenance, or management of third-party venues

* The actions of other venue users or members of the public

* Facilities, equipment, or services provided by third parties


9. Instructor Role


ParkFit instructors are responsible for planning and delivering sessions with reasonable care and attention to participant safety.


However, participants remain responsible for their own actions, decisions, and physical limits throughout the session.


10. Photography & Media (Optional)


Photographs or videos may occasionally be taken during sessions for promotional purposes.


Participants who do not wish to appear in photographs or videos should inform the instructor before the session begins.


11. Agreement


By booking, attending, or participating in a ParkFit session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms & Conditions and Participant Waiver.
